We have also been working with James Hugonin on this triptych entitled Three Fluctuations in Contrary Rhythm. It has been a truly extraordinary project, it has stretched everyone involved to the limit. The three elements were printed in sequence, so it amounts to a 90 colour print. Apart from the artwork for the underlying grid, all the elements were made by hand. We proofed the first sheet in 30 colours, then we proofed the three sheets in 90 colours and after 4 major edits, we printed the edition.

The work is published by The Ingleby Gallery, Edinburgh. Prints like this only come into existence through the vision and determination of all involved. Everyone contributing, James, his brilliant studio assistants, the Gallery and the Studio put their all into it.
